Citywest Hotel gets up and running with Megapay. 02nd June, 2008 : Citywest Hotel which is a 1446 bedroom hotel is part of the Mansfield Group. Mansfield Group currently includes a number of diverse companies, from a 5 star golf resort, PGA National at Palmerstown House, Weston Airport, Finnstown Country House, HSS Developments, building company and various other businesses.
Linda Lockhart, Group Accounts and IT Manager was involved in the company's initial decision to select VIP Payroll Manager as their payroll system. As the company's needs expanded, Megapay was chosen as the logical progression. "We were using VIP Payroll Manager but found that we had outgrown the system, so we switched over to Megapay and are very happy, it has a super reporting side, very easy to use and navigate and is well able to cope with the high number of staff records, etc".
At Intelligo, the focus is on customer care, and once Megapay is installed in a client site, excellent, robust support through phone, internet and specific website access is provided. "Having used VIP Payroll Manager we were happy with the level of support offered by Intelligo and were keen to stay with them. Choosing Megapay meant we could get all our information migrated to Megapay from VIP and as we do a weekly payroll for all companies this meant minimal interruption time."
Citywest have a staff of over 600, which include part-time, full time, service and administrative staff. Keeping track of hours worked, cost analysis and departmental outlays is a large part of the payroll requirement. "Due to the level of staff that we have we are constantly asked for different statistics, i.e. the total number of hours worked by a department. With the ease of reporting this is something that we can extract with very little hassle."
