Learning Disability Specialist installs VIP HR and Payroll Manager to support their administration departmentsLearning Disability Specialists, The Walkinstown Association, has invested in VIP HR and Payroll Manager, a combined Human Resource and Payroll solution that integrates seamlessly with one another. Since it has been installed, VIP HR Manager and Payroll Manager has allowed for quick, easy and accurate sharing of information between the HR and Payroll department at The Walkinstown Association, ensuring that key employee data is entered only once with subsequent changes updated automatically between both systems. Founded in 1967, The Walkinstown Association was set up in response to a need for a community based centre that would provide services for adults with learning disabilities. Over the last five years the company has grown substantially and now employs 72 staff that provides services to 130 adults from all parts of Dublin. Austin O'Sullivan, Director of Finance and Adminstration, comments, "We had been with another payroll provider for about five years and found that as we grew, their payroll application could not grow with our Payroll and Human Resource demands. The most important thing for us was that a payroll system could track staff costs on an hourly basis across multiple cost centres and also keep an adequate record of all HR details such as training, sick leave, absenteeism and remove all paper files". VIP HR and Payroll Manager came out on top as the preferred solution. He continues, "VIP HR Manager has enabled us to accurately record absences so we know what staff are absent from what department on a daily basis. Since the introduction of VIP Payroll Manager we have been able to accurately track expenditure on staff salary across a multitude of cost centres. This has enabled us to more efficiently allocate resources across different service offerings. The fact that VIP HR and Payroll Manager links means we only have to enter data once and it is available to all staff". VIP HR and Payroll Manager was installed in the Walkinstown Association last August and has been up and running now for the past 6 months.
